INSPECTIONS & RISK ASSESMENTS
Inspections
Workplace inspections, also known as WHS inspections or OHS inspections, are crucial components of a risk management program in the workplace since they support the prevention of work-related diseases and injuries as well as the observance of work health and safety laws.
WHS/OHS inspections detect possible risks and report them so they can be eliminated or prevented, enabling efficient risk management at work.
Risk Assessments
Managing risk means considering the effect of uncertainty (whether positive or negative) on business objectives
Managing risk involves:
-
identifying and assessing risks and controls
-
documenting risks in a risk register (or equivalent)
-
implementing actions and treatments to manage identified risks
-
monitoring risks, including regularly reviewing risk registers
-
reporting on risks.
We work with businesses to carry out workplace risk assessments, to help them to minimise harm and risk at work.
This includes risks to their employees, customers, or others visiting their workplace.
Workplace Risk Assessments identify hazards and assess risk so that these risks can be controlled.
Part of a workplace risk assessment is reviewing the effectiveness of such control measures over time and continually improving on measures to minimise risk and improve safety.
Psychological Risk Assessments
Connexus WHS Consultants collaborates with businesses to create psychologically secure work environments where employees are treated with respect and acceptance.
Our consultants provide a variety of services, such as counselling services, mediation, psychological risk assessments, organisational diagnostics, and culture surveys, to create and maintain psychologically safe workplaces.
To ensure that we promote behavioural change and improvement within organisations, our assessments always contain suggestions for improvement, action plans, and initiatives.
